Red Cloud Land Judgers!!
On October 7, 2009, 15 Red Cloud FFA members traveled to McCool Junction. They came out with 4th place and alternate to State. Competing were Shelby Peters, Brittany Lewis, Kim Morris, Kasey Ord, Toby Colvin, Jared Sibley, Jacob Nikodyn, Tanner Rupprecht, Tony Lammers, Anthony Weber, Hector Rodriguez, Jacob Kucera, Dylan Shannon, Levi Vogler, and Kyle Prellwitz. That day was a great day to go judge the soils. It was not too cold and not too hot. Everyone had a lot of fun and did really well.
Here are the results for individual placing receiving blue ribbons were Toby Colvin 11th, Kasey Ord 16th, Dylan Shannon 28th, were our top 3 from Red Cloud. The red ribbon winners were, Brittany Lewis, Kim Morris, Levi Vogler. The white ribbon winners were, Shelby Peters, Jared Sibley and Jacob Nikodyn. The team received 4th place, a purple ribbon, and a plaque. There were 144 contestants and 38 teams out of 8 schools.
