2010 State Convention

The FFA Chapter traveled to Lincoln for the 82nd  Annual Nebraska State FFA Convention held April 7-10. There were many competitions at the state convention, the results are as follows.
Taylor Neiman, Jared Stitt, Jacob Kucera adn Kasey Ord  participated in the Farm Management contest.  Toby Colvin, Dakota Delka, Jacob Nikodym, and Jared Sibley competed in Meats Judging. Toby Colvin received a blue ribbon, Dakota Delka received a red ribbon and Jacob Nikodym received a white ribbon. The participants in the Natural Resources contest were Taylor Neiman, James Danehey, Taylor Goos and Sarah Shuck. James Danehey received a red ribbon. Morgan Long, Levi Vogler, Tanner Rupprecht, and Anthony Weber made up the Agri Science team. Their team over all received a white ribbon. Shelby Peters received a Silver medal for Senior Public Speaking. The Ag Mechanics team consisting of Ben Hobbs, Jared Sibley, Dakota Delka, and Toby Colvin received a red ribbon. Cale Olson, Tony Lammers adn Cameron Glenn competed in the Welding competition. The junior high came and competed for QuizBowl. The Ag Sales team consisting of Kayla Kucera, Kim Morris, Brittany Lewis, and Shelby Peters competed. Shelby Peters received a purple ribbon and Brittany received a red ribbon.

Seniors that received the State Degree were Jacob Kucera and Kasey Ord. As a chapter we received four awards, they are as follows: a bronze emblem in Community Development, gold merit in Safety, a silver emblem in Natural Resources, and received a superior chapter certificate and a silver emblem.
